well its been awhile since i have written in this thing.. Some one told me to update... so let me see if I can sum everything up without being boring. There won't be an order as i am typing them as they come to me.. so here goes

I'm no longer doing the Opera in Raleigh... which will end up being for the best for me anyways, so i'm not bummed about it really.

I'm selling my Motorcycle because I love my mom and she hates it... So I will be getting rid of it.. It sucks, but I love my mom more than I love my bike.

I'm getting a new tattoo, i've been planning out the design with a tattoo artists up in charlotte for a few weeks now, i'm pretty excited about it.

I still work at olive garden, i like the job its nice.

Fonic Fusion CD is comming along most excellently, we will be done soon I hope. We have a new Keyboard player, his name is Cory and he is absolutely discusting on the black and whites.. We are also planning on recording 4 new tunes Up in Kentucky this summer, I don't have much info on that yet, but keep in mind, it will be tasty.

I think thats about it rght now

Well.. I am in an odd mood today.. i'm not in a bad mood, nor is it a good mood. Its just a mood and it wierding me out. Oh well i'll get over it i'm sure.

A slight update I suppose is due. I Recently got an Offer for a Character Role in the Opera Tosca. It looks good that I'm going to be doing it, and i'm really excited about it. Its a professional Opera with a great cast of some big Opera singers. I can't wait to do it. Its going to be in Raleigh in June. So i'll be heading up there at the end of May and working up there for two weeks. I just am waiting to hear the good word that I definately am doing it. I should know on Monday... So yeah, thats good news for me :)

I'm about to head into work, and tonight a Reporter from the Rock Hill Herald is comming in to do a story on me there at the Olive Garden... Well.. actually she will be doing a write up about myself and this other Kat named Troy who sings there also.. Its only right to give him credit because he does after all sing and he put in the good word so I could get the Job without any problems. Oh I guess I should say they are doing the story on us because we sing to our guests there.. which is pretty cool I suppose.

Its wierd to me though.. i've talked it over with friends.. I just don't feel like I deserve much credit for it.. I can sing.. its what I do.. everyone has something they can do... What I do doesn't make me anymore special than another person. I don't sing to people for recognition.. I do it to make people smile and be happy.. that sounds really lame but thats really what its all about for me. and If you want to talk to the person who really deserves recognition, I would have to bring out a list of names of all the people who have really helped me in developing me as a musician.. so we shall see about all of that... its really not a big deal

ok yeah thats it i'm going to work now

Well i suppose it has been awhile since i have updated this thing... but i suppose you guys have lived through my abscense.. thats good to know...

Work is pretty good, I enjoy the job and the money ain't bad either....

It seems as though I will not be moving to Nashville in August, instead i will be pushing it back to around Next January because I have decided that I am going to do the Metropolitan Opera Auditions in November. It is a three stage audition process. a state, regional, and National audition... Nationals of course will be held in New York... My voice teacher thinks I have a good chance of winning, and he hasn't been wrong about it before. but we'll see.. I am not going to go to win really, there is going to be some ridiculously good singers there i'm sure so i'll just be glad if I make it to Regionals... and if I make it to Nationals, that would be awesome to.. but i'll take it one thing at a time.. I am really excited about it though... I just have to find a place to live in june... so we shall see about that...

I went to see Finding Neverland this past friday, and I tell you that movie was amazing... sad however... i'll admit it brought a few tears to my eyes... but I enjoyed it very much.. I recommend it to everyone....

Other than that, nothing is really different with me...

Well this past week was interesting to say the least. I decided on Weds to visist some folks up in Tenn. It was pretty awesome.. But i have found I don't like driving in the Mtns late at night. I got to meet some of Teresa's friends in Knoxville and some of Gregs Friends in Nashville.. It was fun... a lot of driving but I had a great time. I talked to lauren i think for like 2/3 of the trip on my way up weds b/c i was really bored and the music wasn't getting me through completely.

So yeah I had a good time. I also went to a wedding on Saturday, it was a huge wedding... I think its the biggest wedding i've ever been to. It was also one of the nicest. The receptions was most excellent...

At this current moment, I am getting ready to start my new Job at Olive Garden. I Hope I don't end up hating this job... we'll see about that

Jan. 7th, 2005 @ 03:48 pm An interesting Start to the New Year
Current Mood: confusedconfused
So yeah its been an interesting start... Some really awesome things have happened and some things that were not so good have happened. The Fonic Fusion CD is turning out nicely. We spent the past four days down in Florence really working on making things sound tight and also appeal to record labels.. and I think we accomplished that nicely. There were two or three things that happened this week that I would have preferred not to have happened, but theres not much I could do about any of them... and while it sucks, thats just the way it is... so no worries.

I'm over at Rob's Girlfriend Jaime (the triple B I like to call her) and we are kind of getting along... but she is my nemesis so as we speak i'm uploading a virus onto her computer... oh yeah.. i'm hardcore.. but i'm trying to be nice to her today since I need a friend..... but she keeps trying to kiss me and lay in bed with me... and thats just wierd with Rob laying there right beside me... i don't really get it but oh well... I can't help that she wants my sexified body.... but thats ok... she is being nice today and I don't mind it... makes me feel kind of wierd inside like I actually may have emotions.. i know that sounds crazy, but I may in fact have sympathy... more on that later.

So i'm updating this thing.. not because of my Nemesis.. but Because I wanted to...

I'm Graduating tomorrow... what a relief.. and I have no idea what I'm doing afterwards... I have decided to take some graduate classes at winthrop in the Spring... and I need to find a job for the next few months

Fonic Fusion has been working like mad men the past few days with the recent arrival of Greg [drummer] from Nashville. We're getting ready to head back into the studio right after the New Year.. This should probably be our last recording Session and Hopefully we'll have our album out by april.. I'll know more on that after the sessions. but yeah its starting to sound amazing.

I'm singing tomorrow at Graduation... however, I have acquired a sore throat and i'm not really happy about that. Oh well.. i gotta sing anyways so theres nothing I can really do about it now... wish me luck

I received possibly the coolest gift one could give the other day... it was the gift of Prince, THE VERY BEST OF PRince that is... its great... Thanks allison.

I tried to watch collateral last night... but I was getting tired from the medicine.. So I called Lauren instead... which was a great alternative... I don't really know that theres anything important here... i probably didn't even need to mention that... But My nemesis does want to know every moment of my life and emotion.... because she is in love with me and is saddened that she can't have my sexified bod anymore... Sorry Nemesis.... not really, I enjoy seing you suffer.

I am graduating in 3 weeks... and its about time. I'm ready to graduate, but slightly scared at the same time. I have no idea what i am going to do for the next 8 months. I'm sure I'll find something to do before I move to Nashville, it may not be anything great, but I have to find something to do...

I had a nice thanksgiving break, I hung out with my brother a good bit, and I got to see my family, which was nice because I really haven't seen them much these past few months. Friday, I met Jason and Matt in Columbia and saw Emery play at New Brooklyn Tavern. They were amazing live. It really was a good show and those guys are just great people. Jason is close friends with all of them and I've known them for the past 5 years because of Jason. So you guys should check out Emery, because they're good.

Yeah.
